  • Taken - Vue Leicester.
Had to wait in line for about 5 or 10 mins, but in screen 7 - fairly big size. About 50-60% full.
Really good film, loads of violence......but not a lot of blood and guts if that makes sense. Similar in a way to Dark Knight - implied violence, you know what is going on......but no pools of blood etc. Interesting.
8 out of 10 from both 16 yr old son, and myself......and an excuse to drive home the point about parents always knowing best..... ;)
  • Taken, last night in Gunwharf.
Think it was in the smallest screen possible but film was better than expected. Wasn't sure about Liam in the role at first, thinking it should have been Bruce but he grew on me as the film developed.
Could of done without the last soppy 5 mins but overall 7.5/10.

Not quite sure what everyone saw in Taken. It was a 4 out of 10 at best...but hey I suppose people tend to have different opinions, so they tell me:confused:

The ending was espacially funny as Neeson just looked incredibly smug rather than happy in a "I told you them foreigners are all evil and you'll get into trouble" kinda way. And what was Maggie Grace playing at? SEVENTEEN??? Yeah right. She played the character like she was a 30 year old trapped in the body of a 10 year old; skipping around in a constant state of giddy excitement.
  • Horses for courses amigo. There are people out there who hate The Godfather but love Flubber. I know. I've met them....

  • Right, can anyone tell me why I received an instant notification for codes only from llhwjud and then there were only the codes given by So Mental on the 16/09?

  • Just like the poster above me does anyone have 2 spare tickets for death race at Greenwich?

I've tried all the codes but i'm having no luck :(
  • Just cancelled 2 tickets for Hampstead screening of "I loved you so long" screening at 11am tomorrow morning and noticed that there are tickets still for other screenings still available. Check codes only board for details.
  • an absolutely beautiful film. hours later am still contemplating some of the finer moments. 10/10. having seen many blockbuster-types this year i finally went to a film where i didn't have to switch off part of my brain - oh joy.

thank you so much you mse'r for the codes! esp little bill for flagging it up on the times site and destresserai for posting the codes at 12.04am (i got up at in the small hours in anticipation of the code - well worth it!).
