Thanks for this. I dont think I explained myself properly.

What I meant was if a film was showing on say a wednesday could I collect my ticket in advance on the tuesday by showing my email confirmation or would I have to just turn up on the day of the actual film itself?

    Hiya

With seefilmfirst, there is no ticket to collect, the link in the email will take you to the e-ticket, you just need to print it, the print out is your ticket.

You just have to go to the cinema on the actual day of the film. The email is your ticket. You just show it when you go to see the film.

Argh! No! Not for SFF....the email will link you to the ticket to print-out but it should specify something like "This email is not a valid ticket"

  • I've just been to see El Bano del Papa, which was quite good but not really my type of film I don't think! I'll give it 6/10

Also, went to see Baby Mama last week (thanks to Phatz!) and enjoyed it. Not the best film going but lighthearted and easy to watch - 7/10

Went to see Wild Child last night and loved it. It is silly, clichéd and very predictable... PERFECT! LOL
Getting there... A deal at a time. :T

If anyone won't be able to make it to the Elegy screening in London (Curzon Mayfair) I would love to take the tickets off your hands. Really want to see Penelope Cruz in this. Cheers.
:D if you don't have anything nice to say, keep schtum.

I went to see El Bano del Papa last night - glad I did not pay for it, went with my DH and we came out stressed and depressed. SLOOOOOOOOWWWWWW film, with beautiful photography, very worthy theme (poverty, religion etc...) but DEPRESSING!!!!!!

The camera work was so bumpy that I felt travel sick only to watch it when they were on the road.

All in all, if I had paid for it I would have been well peeved off. Given it was a freebie, I am ok with it, but in URGENT need of cheer-up films (Maybe I shall go back - paying - to see Mamma Mia, that was GREAT! and no thinking involved!).

Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

definitely agree with the Mamma Mia comment went to see it last night thinking i would hate it but it was the most fun i've ever had in a film the audience were dancing and clapping and really having a great laugh.

I felt so much like you and I have never been considered superficial but quiet the opposite too deep to handle, and I am South American with pride! I cannot say the same for Mamma Mia though.

Went to the TimeOut preview screening of Man On Wire at Brixton last night with a friend. I was really looking forward to it.................except the screening didn't exist.
The staff were baffled by my ticket, which definitely had yesterday's date on it.
I had travelled an hour across London to get there, so was not impressed. Though, it did mean I went to see Wall-E instead as it was showing around the same time, which I really enjoyed.

The staff raised their eyebrows at the mention of TimeOut, which suggests it's not the first time things have messed up with their screenings. Any other experiences of this?
