    PANTS!

Went to the TimeOut preview screening of Man On Wire at Brixton last night with a friend. I was really looking forward to it.................except the screening didn't exist.
The staff were baffled by my ticket, which definitely had yesterday's date on it.
I had travelled an hour across London to get there, so was not impressed. Though, it did mean I went to see Wall-E instead as it was showing around the same time, which I really enjoyed.

The staff raised their eyebrows at the mention of TimeOut, which suggests it's not the first time things have messed up with their screenings. Any other experiences of this?

    Hi ...

I had a wasted journey to collect tickets from a cinema ... Cineworld ... I complained by email to the Distributor/promoter ... Paramount ... and received 4 free tickets the very next day ... they were extremely apologetic ... and the Cineworld sent my free screening tickets via email so I didn'y have to trudge out again for them ...

I would say it was worth complaining directly to the film's Distributor ...

    Hope this helps ... LB

Definitely complain to Time Out, it is not on that they make people trek to a non-existent screening!

I'm a woman and I didn't, only at times I liked but I found that the actors were pretty embarassed with it! MY OPINION, OK?

i've posted a code from my DDs mag but the site has a different date for the screening, i've put a comment in about that and advised anyone getting tickets to assume the mag details are correct but to ring their local cinema for confirmation. i didnt want to keep editting that post and was scared to add another post below to try and explain in case i got jumped on for discussing it. if anyone has any questions thy can post them here but the mag definately says the showing of the rocker is in the 20 odeon cinemas ive listed and on the 20th August.;)
