We (DD 8 + friend & myself) absolutely adored Wall-E. I found the film so sweet and charming and it had a really great moral hook.

Destresseria, where you at Purley Way? I found Grants to be 3/4 full :?:

I was at Grants as well but when I said it was surprisingly empty it was because I expected it to be completely full. The whole of the front section was empty!!

Aah, I see. You are right. Although I did nearly trip on the buggy parked in the front row

I was at Grants this morning seeing Wall-E had no children with us went with my sister. We both thought it was fantastic, kept us amused and interested. There was a lady on the front row in tears when we went to leave.

The previous comments about the toys are so right we went straight to this disney store and i have a talking wall-E cuddly toy :).

    I'd give the film 9/10.

Also I had both the print out and page from magazine and offered the woman by the door both and she took the email. Wish I hadnt forked out for the paper now!!!

Saw WALL-E at Birmingham today, really enjoyed the film, also cinema was only 3/4 full, about 100 seats free at the very front, perhaps they only gave away a certain amount free. Possibly as seats at very front give everyone neck ache, I get dizzy if sit too near to screen so always try for at least halfway up any cinema I visit.
Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:

Saw the free preview of wall-e on Saturday. Am I the only one that didn't enjoy it? I thought the first half was quite boring, although it did get better. I did feel that the film seemed to want to preach to the adults, whilst throwing in some cute robots to keep the children amused. My OH was even less impressed!

Vote whihc might pull Wall-E down. Took two daughters and one friend and they would vote as follows:-

    10 year old - 8.5
    15 year old daughter 6.5
15 year old duaghters friend 8
    Me 7

I must admit I might have been more tempted to improve the mark had Disney not insisted on using it as a vehicle to ram the "eco" message down your throat!
