Must be such a relief for you and the family.
The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(

    Hi Red.

So pleased that you found your brother safe. He must have been so distressed...sounds like this was that `cry for help` . He`s lucky to have family that care so much.

When I read you first post I must admit that I sometimes go through the motions of getting up , going to work...but some days I just sit in the car wondering` whats the point` & `I need to just get away`. The toughest bit is feeling that you can`t share those feelings with anyone because at the time you think that it is only you in such a terrible mess.

I hope he gets to read this thread & understand that he has so many friends on here..even though we`ve not met him yet...

    Lots of <<<<<hugs>>>>

Thats one hurdle out of the way, unfortunately I fear there will be many more to come...

I have personal experience of these same issues Red1708 - it's very difficult to know exactly what the individual is thinking of and so you don't know what to expect. One week things can be going along just fine and then something happens to take you back to square zero (not even square one).

Mental illness is something that people finddifficult to talk about - I guess because it takes many forms.

Anyway, there are many people in the same boat as you Red1708. I hope your journey and that of your brother (and the rest of your family) begins to move in a more positive direction.

How about your brother and you going away for a few days. Perhaps somewhere you used to go as kids?

Perhaps in that neutral environment, you could address some of his financial issues.

    Good luck!
