The thing with the postage is that people just look at what the actual cost of postage is. This does not include wrapping/ padded envelopes, taking the gods to the post office, time involved. When you sell a few things this can all mount up. But some people do charge excessively.0 -

Helkingst,
I do agree with what you are saying somewhat but when it is a matter of a jiffy envelope + postage...£4.99? No way...

Getting to the post office I agree can cost a lot. My parents (rural) have a 14 mile trip to the post office which can mount up in petrol costs but if they're selling anything they just take it with them when they're going out anyway for shopping, work etc. I worked out recently that my car costs me about 11p per mile. I kind of wish I hadn't worked it out as it really makes you think about how much it costs you to go somewhere even when its necessary.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Hi all, hugs to Bunny and Unixgirl and Louise.. and anyone else who needs them. Cr*ppy day here too, can really sympathise Unixgirl, I've had to go for a long walk and a bit of a sniffle at lunchtime to get it out of my system, luckily I've got a cold that I can blame my red eyes on. All I have to say is that men can be so selfish (present company excepted of course, how you doing Z?)Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

I've decided to set myself a challenge for April:
earn an extra £500 by month end-
I have absoltutely LOADS I can sell on ebay so that will be my main challenge-I also have 2 Virgin Parties booked so that will be at least £100. When I do this, then I can not touch my CTC and CHB (which God knows how much they'll be for next month??!?!?) and hopefully both of those plus the surplus of the £500 will cover it instead of worrying about where I'll find the money from.
So, tonight Matthew, I will be eBaying...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0
