So this month money wise:
DH decided we can live off £150 spending money instead of £200
I am £50 down because of bank charges
I am £150 down because of CTC
I am £100 down because of being put on Emergency tax
That's £350 less...And then, CCCS have decided I can afford an EXTRA £20 a month to pay...
so £370.
Great.
Im seriously pizzed off now.

morning all!
Oh jet, i'm not sure about the debit card thing... how annoying having to tiptoe around that money all the time!!
I'm having a bit of an ebay clearing out this week. Sold 2 tops for £13 yesterday. There must be a market for fat chick clothes! I only started them at 50p each! So quite happy with that.
However was looking to buy a handbag on Ebay to match some new (also Ebay) shoes for a wedding in May. Handbag is bids from 99p (buy it now £9.99!) and wait for it, £4.99 for postage, royal mail second class. I emailed the seller and said "are you having a laugh" or words to that effect and for second class too!!! She says she will drop postage, i may or may not bid. Can't decide now....
The seller is obviously trying to re-coup all selling and paypal fees and make a profit on top with that postage.
It is really a shame when sellers try to take advantage like this, funny thing is they are shooting themselves in the foot as they will get less bids. Has the seller said how much they will drop the postage & packaging to?
I say if its the perfect bag to match your shoes, then get your bid in!But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Just checked ebay and it looks like the shoes you liked have sold. I saw shoes same colour and matching handbag in ShoeZone at the weekend. The shoes were 8.99 and the bag was 3.99 if thats helps.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -

They have said they are having trouble revising the item to reflect reduced postage... but they will change it upon invoicing.... do i take the risk.
I expect i will be winning bidder if the postage stays at a fiver!! noone else will bid.
Fingers crossed, i think it is the perfect bag for the shoes... so worth it. Altho there is another similar one ending 2 hours later so all will not be lost. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=360038232755&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=023
I'll bid up to £3.00 and if i don't get it, i'll try the second one instead.unixgirluk wrote: »Just checked ebay and it looks like the shoes you liked have sold. I saw shoes same colour and matching handbag in ShoeZone at the weekend. The shoes were 8.99 and the bag was 3.99 if thats helps.
I won the shoes a week or so ago, they were £9.99 new, so don't want to spend much on a bag. No shoezone here i'm afraid.
Cheers guys!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

On a slightly more positive note my BoS credit card are letting me transfer some of the balance of my other (nasty APR) credit card so thats one good thing.
