Name / ID / Details from someones mobile phone number

I keep getting calls on my mobile from someone - it just looks like a standard personal mobile number. Is there any way of finding out who this person is? or the name behind the number?

NO.

Does it start 077/078/079 then its a normal mobile.If it starts with any other prefix it cold be an expensive personal number,and that they are trying to get you to ring them to get a share of revenue!!!

NEVER phone anyone back - that is my policy. If they really want you then they can call again.

Haven't you heard about these £50 per minute numbers which people have innocently but stupidly called back and had their mobile bills skyrocketed?

Only 077, 078 and 079 are mobile numbers. Any other 07x is a personal number which could be charged at anything from a few pence to, a few pounds per minute.

No such charging rate as £50 a min. Urban Myth!!!!
I believe £1.50p a min is the highest.

However you make a good point about not phoning back.

yeah i have had a few of them had one this morning 070 they ring a couple of times then stop, as you say dont ring back if its important they will ring back
also had a one this morn starting 080800any ideas is that the start of an area code

Actually it starts 078XXXX I'm pretty sure it's someone from work, I just want to find out who's phone number it is without phoning back. Soulds silly I know - but if there is no way to do this thats fine. I just thought there might be some sort of mobile operator listing out there which allows you to search the account owners details from a phone number.
