Its a bit of a gamble I mean old houses can have a nice skim of plaster with no damp in the plaster and new house just have Plasterboard walls (dry lining) and vice versa depending on what DIY has taken place I reckon youve been careful so fair play to you.
Thats the key dont hold it on forever thinking it will come off easier (it will but with the plaster, and dry lining will just balloon in size.0 -

Yes, that's the one! Believe me, we tried EVERYTHING to get this paper off! My Father-In-Law was painter & decorator, but none of his tricks of the trade worked! This is the thing to use!!!!!20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100

We've ALREADY used it!!! No damage to plaster! We were careful, and only scraped off the very top surface paper. Then used the normal method to remove the backing!!!20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100

hi all- ive just searched the forum for this, and am hoping i can get a little more advice please
i have just started stripping woodchip wallpaper off wall- not sure if its plasterboard or not underneath (i think it is)
all i have is a scraper, and ive also scored the paper, but its a nightmare. should i dampen the paper? will that help?
any help appreciated
thanksI don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Bucket of warm soapy water (washing up liquid) and wet the paper and leave it to soak a bit, should come of fine with a scraper. I normally wet it so it darkens the paper but not to the point its run down the walls and covered the floorGood Luck!
