    [This should actually be put in the 'Why isn't Nationwide a bank already?' thread on current accounts but look at this product?]

    It'll follow the BOE rate down and you can't have your money for at least the next year! What idiot would open one of these as opposed to any fixed rate account under the current circumstances? Yet Nationwide is launching it, so they must believe that their customers are very thick!

    (Oh and look at the date - 7 Apr 2008 - so these rates are already out of date!)

    Leeds BS have done a similar thing here, a few of us laughed on Monday about tracking base rate downwards when better fixed ISA rates were available. :rotfl:

    Am I missing something here as I cannot find anything offering 6.25% under the tax free saving. Can someone tell me where to find it?

    I opened the Nationwide Isa for the full amount on Monday, yesterday (Thursday) I received my Isa certificate, well impressed

    Thanks for that. That was the info I had but thought that as it was posted today that there was something I couldn't find.

    I walked into Bradford and Bingley on Monday and within 5 minutes i walked out with my ISA certificate. ;)
  • Does anyone know how long it takes for the isa to appear on the online banking system?
