Glad the pins went well toto - you going again? When is baby toto due?

I'm going back on thursday morning for round 2. I'm not sure I enjoyed the process, I sort of felt a bit daft lying there half naked with half a dozen pins sticking in me. Of course I ended up in a conversation about my job because once someone asks what I do it usually turns into a question and answer session :D which I don't mind but at times it feels a little strange. Actually the worst time is during a smear test or while giving birth/ having stitches... times when you just want to be um quiet.

The baby is due nov 24th at the moment. so ages yet.

Oh God, dont mention bl00dy smear tests. My first one was when I was expenting my first baby and at my regular anti natal visit to the hospital the doctor suggested that I should have one there and then.

At the age of 20 I was a bit afraid of Doctors so I said yes and also agreed to have a couple of student doctors present.

At least 8 young male Doctors walked in and looked on as the Doctor shone a lamp which was more like a search light at my lady bits while talking them though the whole process.

I really wished I could have died for ten minutes and then had my memory wiped before being returned to the world.

And they asked my hubby to leave the room:eek:

I must point out that I always go for my regular smear tests which are usually less than pleasant but vital.

Just another thing women have to put up with:rolleyes:
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

No I'm keeping it quiet for now, no one in our real lives knows yet. just best to wait until the 12 weeks is up and then start to tell people. I've lost 2 between DS and DD1 so feel it best to just keep quiet.

:rotfl: oh how I feel for you!

When I had my 1st at the grand old age of 20 I had a long labour and about a million stitches internally. The midwife had used the hook thing to break my water and ripped me apart in the process. Anyway, after the birth I had a male midwife come in to stitch me up. he was down there for ages humming away, then suddenly he popped his head up and said, just think, i could bump into you in tesco next week

But ouch on the crochet hook thing:eek:

I had to have stitches with my first and to cut me they used a pair of scissors that you can get out of the bettaware catalogue to cut tin cans with. They actually showed my them first!

I was then stitched by a totally incompetent b1tch who carried on stitching me despite my cries to say I could feel the needle going into my raw flesh.

    Bl00dy cow!

Second baby just popped out though:D
