Ok, have a little question for you all.....would you recommend that a student DS stays at Uni for the Summer term, to get the loan, even though he knows he is going to jack in his degree, or would you recommend that he quits to find a job - with the prospect of no money to pay his rent this term...?

Additional info - he's 22, lives in Leeds, (being a student) he is O/D, he has already had his summer term's "donation" from Mum, and Mum is guarantor for his rent.

    Any suggestions please?

Anyway, after the birth I had a male midwife come in to stitch me up. he was down there for ages humming away, then suddenly he popped his head up and said, just think, i could bump into you in tesco next week

Hi everybody - hope you're all well today!

Well, following on from my message yesterday, we got the confirmation that we're relocating 30 miles away in August - a lot sooner than we thought! I don't really want to go, but whilst there are no other jobs available, I'd better suffer the train for the time being! It means I'll have to get my backside into gear a bit better in the mornings!

    Aww... :grouphug:

Never mind - perhaps more opportunities will arise between now and then.

When I had ds a male Doctor stitched me up. He was literally sat between my legs at the end of the bed, my feet were in stirrups and I was soooo embarrassed. So I says to him ' Are you good at embroidery ? ' and he looked at the nurse, who was watching, as if to say we've go a right one here !

That's because they like to do the jokes - and not the patients.

Don't say things like "Is it true? Can you really see sunshine?"

Finish out the year, he'll still have to pay tuition fees till the end of the year and even for a completed year (granted he passes) then he can get a certificate to say he's done it.

Of course;) Couldn't possibly administer anything without bringing the appropriate gear.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
