Local elections coming up - presumably why all the nulab mp-twonks who were cheering last years "tax the poor and small business until the pips squeak" budget are now hitting that brown-trouser moment (I could also accept that most of them are too thick to do much other than shout hear hear in between troughing).

Forget petitions (and the usual lies about "we're looking into it - tba after May") and use your votes instead.

But you've got to congratulate the fact that 12 months after announcement ..... they've actually appeared to realise what it's all about?

So their bandwagon is firmly following up the muckcart in the parade. Nice to know we're in safe hands.
If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !
  • I'm going to put the cat among the pigeons now.

If everyone protests and the plan is abolished, what happens when those of us who are better off under this system start objecting about having to have a tax increase?

Why does there need to be a tax increase ?
The way prices are going up they already get it in increased VAT and fuel tax .

Just fill in the bits about employment, ignore the rest of it and it will show you the effects of the new system on just your earnings

Gordon thinks we haven't noticed all the extra vat cash pouring into his piggybank. A lot of MP's are coming out of the woodwork on this, be interestig to know how many are stirring things up behind the scenes.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

I have submitted a petition on the 10 Downing St. Site .

Please sign it and forward it to as many people as possible .

If you click on the link below it will take you to the site , where you will be able to add your signature/support .

    http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Appalled/AqF4YrEUADWPC2VsHHAtd9a

    Your petition reads:

We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to re-think the
abolition of the 10p tax band

We support the efforts of those MP's who are attempting to
reverse the effects of the abolition of the 10p tax band . We
are appalled that this government is forcing the poorest
section of society to subsidise the tax cuts for everyone else
    .
