    It has a 2 year guarantee. Sounds like you need to make use of it if it's within that timeframe.

    Why does it have a 2 year guarantee? Do all Sony Ericsson have 2 years? How do you reload the software?

    as I have 2 faulty S E W850I less than 2 yrs old.

    try connecting the phone to the computer.

    grab a copy of xs++ from here, the usb flash driver from here.

    install the usbflash drivers when prompted

    open up xs++, click connect.

    plug the cable into the computer, then (with phone switched off) press and hold 'c' on the phone and plug the cable into the phone. you should now be prompted to install the flash drivers.

    once installing the drivers has finished, you should get a log like this (the log is called XS++.log and in the directory/folder that xs++ was run in)

    I still use and favour my k750i despite upgrading to a motorola razr, then a SE 850i, but neither of them I use, they lay back in the boxes complete and untouched except for a few days use.

    i personally think that the k750, w900 and w810 were the best models SE ever produced
  • I wasn't aware of this 2 year thingy. My K750i is suffering from wsod, whenever I power it up the white screen flickers on and off for 20 mins before the phone comes on then once on has a tendancy to randomly freeze or go off again should you press the "wrong" button.

    Only thing is tho I've had it unlocked and flashed to W800i so have I invalidated the warranty?
