In 'My Account' section in the empire home page it has read despatched next to my step draws for the last 7 days and I havent heard anything! So I rang empire this morning and they informed me that it is being delivered direct from their supplier, so I requested the suppliers phone number to chase order but surprise surprise they dont have a contact number, I have never come across such a amateur organisation as empire. The girl just kept saying it will be with you shortly and that she couldnt give me a date, loads of comfort, as I have already paid, and when/if it does get delivered their will be nobody there as I am at work during delivery hours!

I had the same problem Loopielou, but about a week after phoning empire, the supplier rand me and I now have my cabinet, so I am sure they will contact you soon too.

I am fuming! They despatched mine and then returned it without trying to deliver it, and now say it's unavailable. They have lost themselves a customer.

Even more pee'd off now - i went on the website to see if its there and ...guess what...they allowed a fresh order to go through. I have had enough of them after this. That was my birthday present to myself

empire just keep gettin better and better, at being bloody useless, they dont know their !!!!!! from their elbow. I recieved a letter yesterday from empire telling me that they had run out of stock, sorry. Well i was about to flip out when i read my other mail, one from the courier company informing me that the cabinet will be with me today! got to laugh, a crazy little laugh, with a couple of eye twitches.

This saga has come to an end thank god, got my cabinet, courier service rang me when they were 10 mins away so that i could rush home, great service, as for empire, MICKEY MOUSE could run a company better!

I've got no complaints on this one, delivery date was as expected on the e-mail; there was a mega amount of packaging which is just as well as the two unfit delivery guys really struggled to get it up two flights of stairs (tee-hee!)
-A seriously solid piece of furniture and well worth the money! :T

Got cancellation letter, what a bunch of idiots. Have of course complained, but it will do no good. Wife is very disappointed, which means no brownie points for me

Sorry Sarahsaver, after posting this offer you didnt even get one. I know how disappoiinted you must be.

I was so looking forward to mine also. Oh well, OH would be pleased its not arriving (that is if he ever knew about it in the first place). I suppose it saves me from trying to find a place for it, but I did really like it.
