Oh wow, a year ago today I was frantically eating pineapple and playing rampant Scrabble in an attempt to get things moving....:rotfl:
Thanks for the messages - I will take some photos of the party and post them tomorrow night if I'm sober enough!
Hypno, any Jaffa Cakes - real or virtual - most welcome! I could kill for a jaffa cake at the moment."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
I really did it! I'm still in hospital, it all happened in a bit of a rush, 2 hours from start to finish! Sorry I didn't get chance to start a thread! Will update more this evening, from home hopefully, but we're all okay and Natasha is gorgeous! Typing this on my mobile so not very DFW, and no idea how it works really, but just this once, who cares! Love you all loads, Snaggles xxx
Ahhhh......the memories.......:D :A
I can't believe my little baby is a year old! She's still fast asleep, blissfully unaware of the excitement going on around her, or the fact that our living room has been turned into a pink palace, with balloons, presents and banners.
I was just thinking of how much luck this site has brought us over the last two years:
I posted that I wanted a baby, and suddenly got pregnant after endless  attempts.
I posted that I wanted to be debt free, and we pretty much are (*cough* credit card *cough*).
I posted that I would love a folding camper, and the perfect one came up for sale at the perfect moment, when we could afford to buy it.
I posted that I wanted to breastfeed for a year, and found the support here to carry on when the going got tough.
I posted that I sometimes felt lonely and isolated, and I made the best friends anyone could possibly hope for.
I've posted about work issues, relationship disasters, weightloss, and hundreds of other things, and slowly they are all being resolved.
Now I know that many of those things are not completely down to this site, but there are so many things I wouldn't have done if it hadn't been for you lovely people.
So thank you all, I love you to bits, and my goal for this year is:
I would like to win the lottery and retire to a life of luxury on the coast of Brittany..."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
I forgot to say as well that this afternoon we are going to Ryan's school for a meeting with the STARS team, who will work with the school to make recommendations that will help Ryan cope better. Although he has been doing amazingly for the last few days, and in fact has won a behaviour award, which we are going to watch him be presented with in his assembly at 3pm. I am soooo proud of my little guy! :A :T"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
