Ahh, did ya miss me? :rotfl:
Where were you supposed to be going, I can't remember?
With typically perfect timing, our Asda vouchers arrived yesterday....AFTER Stu had done the shopping and filled the car up.
But, I think I have got Stu a bit worried about our money situation, as he has agreed to have a very cheap month. I had £5 in my purse, so nipped into Lidl this afternoon and bought loads of cheap veg, so along with the weekly shop (that cost £30), we should be okay. I'm sure we could live off a similar amount per week for the rest of the month, so I will be meal planning like mad this week.
Also MUST remember to ring our good friends  the tax credits people to say thanks very much for the £250 they are now wanting to send us per month, but our income is different for this coming year than it was last year (they don't seem to be able to grasp that for some reason) so we wont be entitled to it."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Me & miserable bollox were *supposed* to be going out
Do NOT speak to me about t'asda
Snaggs you SHOULD be entitled to something from the TC's ~ we did even when we had pushing a £30k income. However, I do agree that they just dont *get it*, I am dreading calling them but I know I have to:(

i am having to do 2 of those sort of shops over the next 2 weeks.
glad you have got into the swing of things at work.
well done stu on the packing thing :T he did a fab job really i asked dh to bring me in clean undies and stuff when i was in hospital he brings in the skimpiest things he could find i think lol0 -
Well, we only bought the basics, bread, milk, stuff for sandwiches, yoghurts, fuit, veg, tinned tomatoes etc. Plus nappies and pyjama pants, which to be honest took up most of it! We've got a few bags of quorn in various guises in the freezer, and enough pasta and rice to feed the street for a week, so I think we should be okay."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
