so xbox - which festis are you going to? I'm doing Glasto so far and i know that you can take you drinks etc with you so the 2 for 1 deals will work for me...
how about you? will you be able to take the beer / food 'in' with you (to watch bands) or are they gated arenas?

It may not be very festival stylee, but as I reach my mid 30's, the prospect of a tent doesn't quite appeal, so swix of us have chipped in to hire one of these
Plenty of room for beer
Struth!
From memory T does not allow them tho
Tartan Heart lets you bring a caravan :rolleyes:0 -

T in the Park
Tartan Heart
Contemplating trying to get a "last minute" ticket for Leeds
All of the above are gated arenas
So the beer is for the campsite in the evening
Travel: 4 to a car - much cheaper than the bus

I'll post up offers for the supermarkets for all the festivals, so make sure you keep coming back to check!

In true MSE:money: style it seems you should forget about UK festivals altogether!

You might be able to get one of those Platypus backpacks that store water and get vodka in that way

:rotfl: :T I like your thinking!I got food in my belly and a license for my telly
And nothing's going to bring me down0 -
Don't do English Festivals they're so expensive. I went to benicassim last year and spent a week in the sun on only £100 as the food was so cheap and lovely and we could go to the supermarket and get £3 bottles of vodka and whisky that we drank over the week. Ryanair goes to Valencia and the weather is going to be good.
I spent the same amount of money in 2 days at V festival and it was wet and muddy but I shouldn't complain as i got a free ticket and got to put wristbands on the hollyoaks cast0
