Phew what a weekend... not long got back from a run (on my own this time)
... ran for 0.57 of a mile non stop (according to mapmyrun)!!! Was really weird as I just hit this point where I felt fine even though I was running!! Felt like I could've carried on but only had time to do one 'lap' of our normal route... feel great though!Going to running tomorrow with my usual 'buddy' lol.
Parties were good fun. The one friday was for my mates as you know, but Sat was for a group I'd done before.. My UO has given me another party on weds and supposed to have one on sat but she wanted to change the date.
Band practice was good. Next sun Ste's going over to our singers house to record the drums to our tracks (He's got all the gear to be able to do it.) and then the guys are coming over to go over the tracks we have so far.New track is sounding great but hopefully we'll have 2 full tracks done and dusted and we can finally post them up
Right... need to go for a bath and get out of these stinking sweaty running clothes.. :rotfl:Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Morning all. Didn't realised I didn't update at all yesterday! oops! lol Paid off my AS account and today have to send off the money to pay for the bridal fayre. Only trouble is I can see how much we've got left or whether that grant has gone in as money manager is down . Feel like my right arm has been cut off!!! lol! Gaaaaaaaaaaaaah.
Have been given a party on weds night with apparently about 20 people coming so should be a good one.. touch wood anyway!
Other than that all is well. CAB was good yesterday. Have finished my first packs/workbook and now onto the specific enquiry areas, debt, benefits etc and the 2nd workbook
Going to have to sit down and go through all my OU stuff and get that sorted ready for my course which 'starts' on the 3rd May (Saturday). Need to start thinking about some kind of rota/timetable so I can do everything too.
Went running last night with my mate again and we did really well!! Total distance was just over a mile and a half with 0.88 of a mile pure runningAlso able to run more in one go that we did before so really happy with our progress.
:T
Also... I have a slight problem... since going out on fri I've now got the itch to go out again...*hides*
Hope everyone is well.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Oh and in washing-machine-gate the latest news is it has totally given up the ghost... and is full of water. We've no idea how to drain it as it won't do anything apart from buzz and not do what you want it to.
So looks like we're going to have to buy a new one as we're currently sans washing machine with no way of cleaning our clothes.
Question is... how the HELL do we empty the old one and get rid of it?????Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Very similar thing happened to us - don't panic, washing machines fairly simple things. Find the manual. There is usually a filter type thing in the pipe, this can get blocked with clothes fibre sludge, hairbands, coins old tissues (you name it - ours had it) it's often behind a panel on the bottom at the front (sometimes the back), there's usually a tube connected to this straight up to the drum. Get some washing up bowls and you should be able to empty the drum from there. Search on the internet. It's possible you don't need a new one - may even be just blocked filter - in turn blocks the valve. There's usually a trouble shooting guide in the manual, there are lots of forums too if you know the model to figure out which bit of hose by-passes the valves/filters http://www.howtomendit.com/answers.php?id=136030. Don't panic though!0 -

Buzzing is good - buzzing means the pump is going it just can't get the water out - silent is bad.... silence is death0 -

Once the water is out the door should release - it won't open with water in because it's designed to protect people from themselves and their children.0 -
Ok.. I've located the tube at the bottom BUT if I open it water's going to go all over the kitchen floor. _pale_Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Hi IA
Glad life being good to you! Re the washing machine same thing happened to me (twice lol) I was able to open the door as once the machine was switched off the lock lifted and just had to put lots of old towels on the floor and the washing up bowl under the door to try and catch the water! Not easy but my kitchen floor was beuatifully clean once I'd dried it all up!:o
PS: Going out once every couple of weeks, especially with your hectic timetable, is allowed in fact its the law :rotfl:
PPS: Too late again - doh!!I stopped smoking 25th June 2007STILL Never complacent but confidentMy debt is GOING DOWN!!!!0
