    Wouldn't suprise me AT all...

Well if they've sent out a whole bunch of wrong assessments, that would explain just about everything.

they sent out a bunch of old award notices... 'forgot' that childcare existed.... decided that because childcare now didn't exist that they'd over paid us by 4k over the space of 3 years.. 'run out' of overpayment dispute packs and take their time sending out the 'correct' award notice which will no doubt be wrong anyway. *sigh*

If it's any consolation - it sounds like they've done it to a whole bunch of people. Hence the dispute forms running out.

True.... but I'm waiting for the 'You didn't send your dispute back in time so you have to pay us the money' letter. Needless to say I'm keeping the 'ran out' letter in a VERY safe place.

Morning all. 2 bits of crap news this morning
Ste's bonus letter has arrived... and is only £350 instead of the £700 he was told at his appraisal. :( Will have to work out where that leaves us with paying egg off... I knew it was too good to be true... :wall:

£350 bonus is still a positive though and it's nice he's got some reward - he paid for the driving lessons and went through the ups-and-downs of failing then passing - got a better job from driving and then a promotion from doing well at his job....

Now your doing a similar thing - and you're getting there. It's another hiccup and a disappointment but still have faith you'll pull it all off.... and it's another (albeit smaller than you hoped) step on the way....

You are right BB. Just annoyed as it's pretty much all chance of being able to pay off the egg card in full now. :(

My heads been swimming with AS stuff all day and my brains beginning to hurt.. BUT... I promised I'd do an update of my earnings so far now everythings nearly balanced.

    £64.30 in savings account

Payments from customers due (Pay on delivery/friend orders)
    cust A £28 (friend)
    cust B £35 (friend)
    Cust C £38.80 (pay on delivery 25th)
    Cust D £109 (Pay on delivery 25th)
    Cust E £16 (POD 17th)
    Cust F £15 (POD 17th)
    Cust G £41 (POD 17th)
    Cust H £15 (POD 17th)
    Cust I £5 (POD 17th)
    Cust J £7 (POD 17th)

    £309.80
    + £64.30 in bank
    = £374.10.

    Money owed.
£275 to pay off money 'borrowed' from egg card
£4.40 HMRC NI bill

20% to save for the tax man.... = £74.82

    = £19.88 left over

Edit to add... next month I'm not using the egg card. FULL STOP. I must be doing something wrong...

I can't make head nor tail of it - it's all these bits that are confusing - the set up costs - the raffle prizes - printing costs etc. What is the hourly rate working out like? How much do the prizes etc. hit the comission?

But it's 0% right - so if the figures stack up somewhere you've borowed the set up costs for a business for free and it's a bit unrealistic (even for you;) ) to expect to pay all the setup costs back in the FIRST month. You're a few months into this huge life changing plan that's opening up all these doors and is looking to set you all up for the next 43 years of your working life (:p you've 43 years until you retire!!!! ).... most people your age are living in shared houses with the prospect of 43 years of crap jobs ahead of them.... you've pretty much already set your family, home, career up and know what you want to do and where you'll be - you probably won't even be still eligible for tax credits in a few years and you're obsessing about paying off a balance at 0% a few weeks later than you'd hoped (a few weeks out of that long and fulfilling 43years  ahead.
