Listen to the Bear....he makes sense!
IA, I think people have only mentioned it because some people get to the ALMOST debt free stage and then take their foot off the pedal, start spending in an out of control way, and before you know it, they're posting on here that their debt is right back up there again. It can happen almost without you realising it (or maybe, without you wanting to admit it to yourself).
I don't think that's happening in your case - you know that you have probably spent a bit too much, but are happy for the moment to just say 'well, that's life, it's under control and I can handle it'.
But people genuinely don't want you to hit that crisis point where good debt becomes bad debt, because they care about you, so I think that's why there have been a few 'are you getting complacent' posts.
And the answer is 'no'.....so that's okay, that's what we want to hear.
Hope your tattoo sitting goes well and it's not too painful."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

The hair looks eye-catching! Good luck with the tattoo - I hope it looks even better than you expected.
I'm sorry you are a bit upset about some of the feedback (including mine) saying wait a bit longer before you go for it. I think we are getting mixed messages, because your original question was ‘I really want the tattoo, and I've earned it.... but I can't get rid of the ''You should pay it off the debt'' feeling...What do you guys think?’ Some of the responses have been yes and some have been no, which is fair enough, don’t you think, because yesterday you were obviously unsure yourself?0 -

Didn't go in with the plan of it being so big.... but it's going to look really good when finished and we're still debating about the best way to incorporate the paw... so for the time being my arm is bare
Had my CAB expenses cheque today so my next sitting will be when that's clear and I can sort out a time to have it.
But for the time being here's a pic... oh and NAKED BACK ALERT!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

I'm sure it will look amazing when it's finished, but for now......OUCH!!!
Was childbirth not painful enough for you or summat?? :rotfl:
Stu has a tattoo in a similar position to that, maybe slightly smaller, but I remember going with him to have some of it recoloured, and when they did the bit where it goes round onto his side it made him go rather pale!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
