After watching Touche Eclat being highly praised on 'How To Look Good Naked' I found this excellent deal. RRP £22 Feel Unique's price £15.40

BEFORE I bought the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish hot cloth cleanser, I read on here about a look-a-likeee Tesco bnatural.
I thought I would buy that cheap one (I think it was £3.50) & see if I got on with that whole hot cloth method, I did & I liked it, so I bought the Liz Earle.
Now I like the Liz Earle better, but I'm not sure how much of that is price tag & advertising seduction:o
So If you want a bargain, try the Tesco bnatual one. I do actually prefer their muslin cloths to the Liz ones:money:
Anyway I ended up getting the latter as they only had the former in a small size. Will report back on how I get on.
By the way- they have a 3 for 2 offer on Bnatural products at the moment, so I got the cleanser, packet of muslin cloths and also got their lip balm to try out- since we're short of a lip balm on our list! It hasn't got any paraffin products in, which is a definite bonus (I've got no time for Vaseline or other similar lip balms- they do nothing for my very dry lips)- again I'll let you know what I think of it when I've tried it out for a while! At the moment I'm using Aveda Lip Saver which is fantastic, BUT it's £10 for a little stick! EEEK!!0 -
so much to choose from but remember girls the most seen and the quickest aging are our hands USE GLOOVES, or hand creams with an spf, we use bleach harsh wash powder etc without a thought but perhaps the youngesters are better at this?my bark is worse than my bite!!!!!!!!0

Hi again,
In response to Bargain Rzl's question - yes I have tried Touche Eclat. I found that it was quite watery and you needed to put quite a lot on to get any coverage. Also, it didn't last nearly as long as the Collection 2000 version does. I use the Collection 2000 everyday (sometimes twice a day if I'm out in the evening) and it will easily last me 2 or 3 months.
I hope this helps (and I hope you do try it - it really is very very good!)Debt at Highest: £11,630.10 (May 2006) Debt now: £0.00 !!!!Married to the man of my dreams :A - Sat 2nd June 20070 -

So I thought that the Aqueous cream may be cheap, but should I risk it...?!
I'm not convinced that SLS is a major risk to health. Have a look here:

Great thread!
In my job I wash my hands around 15 times a day. I use Cuticura Dry Skin Intensive Hand and Nail Cream several times a day. Mostly only on the backs of my hands as this is where I dry out. Goes in easily, has to, no time to take time! £1 from Home Bargains, £shops etc.
Rimmel 60 second nail polishes are my fave and I love their concealer and lipsticks.
Dove conditioner in the dark blue containers, I have long hair which needs care on ends, very good. Usually on offer in £shop or for £1 in asda.
Thanks for the list :T and keep up the good work!0 -

SLS goes by a number of names lauryl sodium sulfate, sodium dodecyl sulphate, sodium lauryl sulphate, sodium lauryl sulfate and a huge number more that I won't bore you with. I work with it every day and although it is irritant to nose, eyes and respiratory system in its powdered form it isn't toxic so it won't harm you directly.
The primary reason so many companies are advertising as being SLS-free is because of the rise in awareness of this chemical as an irritant to people with skin sensitivities. Its just another way of increasing their customer base.
Hope that helps

I might be in the minority but I have the bnatural cleanser from Tesco after hearing everyone rave about both it and Liz Earle and thought it was rubbish to be honest, didn't make my skin feel 'clean', actually made it quite greasy feeling. Maybe it's because I'm quite young and my skin doesn't need lots of moisture in it at the moment. I'm normal/combination skin with lots of sensitivity if it matters.0
