I have dry and sensitive skin - what is the suggested 'formula' for oil cleansing for me if I want to try it?

Benefit lipgloss - 'Her Glossiness' free with Glamour magazine at the moment - £2, normally lipgloss is £13, and it's really nice!

    There are 3 different ones:

a mid pink, very nice one called 'who are you wearing?'
a very pale pink/nude, 'didn't hear it from me'
    and a clear/purpley-pink one, which I don't know what it's called as I didn't get it, lol.
The clear purpley-pink one (which has a bit of a sparkle to it) is called 'my people, your people'.

Got 2 so far and just need 'who are you wearing'...

Hello harryharp, just wanted to let you know that I have used Ultrabland from Lush and it ruined my skin. Made it really oily and really enlarged the pores on my cheeks. This was about a year and a half ago and my pores have never gone back to their original size *sigh*

Obviously different products work for different people, but I wanted to share my experience just in case.

Btw, been using the oil cleansing method for 3 weeks now and there is a definite improvement in my skin. most of my spots have gone and my skin is noticeably finer
Thank you for the warning Yenners.

Can I ask what proportions you are using in the oils for the OCM? Also which carrier oil are you using and how many times a week are you doing it?? (Sorry about the Spanish Inquisition!!!:D )

I have just re-read your thread and noticed it happened to someone else too (ie. 'blind' spots): http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=11007961&postcount=34

I might consider upping the castor oil to 30%...I'd like to really give this a chance to work as so many people seem to swear by it. I think I'll give it a few more weeks to give it the benefit of the doubt!

Got the first one at a north London branch of Sainsbury's Local on Monday morning on my way to a meeting.

Second one yesterday at an independent newsagent on Borough High Street.

There doesn't seem to be a shortage of them round here...

But as my is invisable I won't let it bother me;)

I think you got to give it at least a month to try it out anyhow:D

Yeah I like it & its great for my heavy duty mascara.

    But I've got a theory........

    OCM - oils & a muslin cloth.
Liz Earle - a blend of oils & balms (theres NO soaps in it) & a muslin cloth
Tesco bnatural liz-earle-look-a-like - as Liz Earle above.
Eve Lom - a blend of oils & balms (theres NO soaps in it) & a muslin cloth
Boots time delay cleansing balm - as Eve Lom above.

All of these NEW trendy methods are the same thing, the prices vary & the consistancy & packaging, but basically I think they are just the same thing.

    Anyone agree?

    Totally :)

And before I used the OCM I was using decleor's ylang ylang oil to control my oiliness which is also expensive
