    Hi...

I've just moved into a house which has a garden and we've decided to start planting fruit and veg etc. I've never done this before so i've done loads of reading up on stuff and we're starting to see some nice things.

But we've discovered that there is an Elderberry tree in the garden which is already showing fruit. I've done some googling and identified that it's definitely elderberry and not anything potentially poisonous. So what can i do with them? any recommendations would be very welcome because i've never eaten elderberries in my life!

    Thanks.

    wine seems popular.. jam?

The usual fruity things seem ok.. just don't let the birds eat them or they do purple poo on your washing which stains!

I've added your thread to our existing one on elderberries which should give you lots of inspiration.
