Hi everyone, not much flying done here this week.

DS1 put his front teeth through his bottom lip on tuesday night so up to A&E decided he could do with stitches but thought it would scare him to much so glued it together, he seems fine and says it doesn't hurt and bonus for him no school until monday(he doesn't like school)plus his lip is swollen quite alot even how and i know if he went to school he'd forget about it and muck about, i'm afraid it would open and then it would be stitches. Then yesterday DD fell off her bike and hit her tooth so now it's really loss.

Right OH's home and we're going to take into the garden as an old dead tree fell yesterday so need to move and saw it plus mow the grass if the hail stones go away. One minute sunny next hailstones what's that all about?

MOAM big hugs and i hope everything ends up fine.
    Johanne big hugs.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

i bought one when i had my daughter (9 on saturday) and still used it now for mentrual pain and dodgy back. might be worth a try xx

    :hello:

    Right so far today

I have managed to get plenty done thanks to my mum being here. :j Gonna miss her when she has gone back home, the whole 30 yards away that it is:rolleyes: . She has been staying as the hospital forms said there should be 2 adults in the house following jacks operation. we didn't want to tempt fate.

Today i should have gone to the dentist, but jack was running a temperature and it was far more important to get this checked out than my dental app. mThe good new is that he hasn't got an infection but have been to told to keep my eye on his temperature over next 48 and docs is open saturday morning as well so thats handy.

Anyways, all the dailies done, 2 loads of laundry washed and on the line (shall iron tonight).
House all downstairs vacuumed including staircase.
Kitchen floor mopped this really should be included in my dailies. Darn those black tiles.
And as for tonight i am definately going to sort that drawer or papers that need filing, one the ironing is finished of course:rolleyes: I have written a plan of how to organise this, i am sick of not being able to lay my hands on important docs when i need them, so the theory is in place now just to get the practice.:o

Hope this weather holds out for another hour or so the laundry should be dry by then but its starting to look a little dull:(

    For this afternoon.

    Take dd to dentist 2:40
HHC just to stay on top
Tea is at my parents today :T

    For early evening

Punctuation and grammer with DD, 15 minutues
    4 x tables with ds#2, 15 minutes
    reading to all 30 minutes
Have a game of bowling on Wii to chill out a bit.

    Once kids are in bed

    Make packed lunches
    load DW after supper
Quick S & S of kitchen and bathroom
    Iron
    Sort Papers in drawer.

You can touch the dust but please don't write in it !

Would you like to speak to the man in charge, or the woman who knows whats happening?

    • RING COUNCIL FRIDAY - re council Tax
I've made a comprehensive list of my kitchen cupboards, fridge and freezer so I can try and work out some sort of meal plan. Just gone in the fridge and decided I should check the date on the eggs (24th march :o ) and I thought "that tub of stork has been there a while... BB 8th march 2008  Had to chuck it out, as I can't use out of date spread even in baking with DD as it upsets her stomach. Looks like I'm in for a baking weekend though while DD is away - 10 eggs, spread (other stuff), flour, sugar and vanilla flavouring all need using up :rotfl: Also found some dried fruit in the cupboard so may make some scones..will have to see.

I had an idea - "spare" bedding is now stored in plain view - as throws on the sofa & arm chairs :D:rotfl::rotfl: 1 double quilt cover nicely covers the main part of my 2seater sofa, double blanket underneath ontop of the cushions and another over the back. :D:rotfl:

I now have 2 "single" blankets and the curtains I was going to use under DDs bed to use on the armchairs to cover them. Just needed to sit down and catch my breath :o Off to play with covering the armchairs now

Quickly popping in from work as I'm alone in the office and waiting for something to happen

 Buster is inaccessible here too. This means there's probably been an adsl outage on the router at home so the ip address will have changed. Or the house has burnt down. Or it's been turned off by someone (not me). I'll get DS to look at it when I get home from work this evening.

    Caramel Banana Torte
    175 g SR flour
    1/4 tsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp bicarb of soda
50g butter or marg cut into chunks
    150g caster sugar
175g ripe banana (2 for me)
1/2tsp fresh ground nutmeg (haven't got so used mixed spice)
    3 tbsp milk
    1 egg

    caramel
    75g sugar
    filling
    175g soft full fat cheese
    2 tbsp lemon juice
    2 tbsp icing sugar
    175g banana (2)

Sift flour, baking powder and barcarb. Rub in butter to make breadcrumbs (i used the magimix)
Peel and mash bananas and beat with nutmeg, milk and egg.
    Stir in the dry mix.
Put in greased 8inch round tin and bake at 180 (350) for 40 minutes. Cool in tin for 5 minutes before turning out on to wire rack to cool. Once cool cut in half horizontally.

Caramel- put the sugar into a small pan, dissolve, without stirring, over gentle heat then boil until a rich brown colour. immediately pour over top of the cake and use an oiled knife to spread. Mark 8 portions.

Filing - put the soft cheese, lemon juice and icing sugar into a bowl and beat. Peel and chop the banans and add to half of the chese use to sandwich the cakes together.

Spread the remaining cheese round the sides and cover with flaked almonds - can't be bothered with this bit.

I have never made this before so will let you know how it turns out.
