Morning all!
I was full of good intentions yesterday but I'm afraid I didn't get much further than a huge ironing mountain! After waiting in for the boiler engineer all morning I finally got a call to say he couldn't make it and would be coming today instead. I had cancelled my vet's appointment and remade it for today so I told him that it had to be after 11 - I didn't want to cancel again.
Today I want to try and get everything looking reasonable before I go back to work tomorrow. If possible I'll be getting to the bedroom stuff but more likely I'll still be working on Monday's lists!!0 -
Thanks embb, got a million thoughts going through my head right now. Including will i be able to carry on with my OU course, it was funded for me because i got WTC, now i'll probably have to pay for it myselfThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

.... if you need a giggle just look at the amount of pigpen's lists that she's completed - usually a big fat zero:rotfl:

Morning all
HUGE HUGS for MOAM, Johanne and G&B
Didn't get loads done yesterday by some peoples standards but things look a bit better round here so hurrah for us. We cleared the bottom half of the stairs and A hoovered them for meI did some ironing as well and I am sure there were some other things we did between us!
Right, brekkie, shower and then onwards. Have to deliver a bday pressie and card today and think we will take some flowers to DH.
My Dad has just 5 working days to go to retirementor to put it another way 40 (ish) hours!!!!!!

Morning lovely ladies.
Sorry there are a few problems about again this morning.
MOAM if there is anything we can do, just shout. Hope all is over quickly and just a scare.
Johanne take it as easy as you can hun! you are too close now to get so upset. Try sitting upright to get bubs to move.
GandB that is really crap - i'd best prioritise ringing up CTC, i only get about £50 a month, but what's the betting they take that off me now i am on mat leave.
Tip of the day from me - i learned at work that Unison have grants for people doing OU courses, for anyone who is a member. A lady at work got a couple of hundred quid, which isn't huge, but it paid her course fees.
Midwife for me this morning. So i am going to start with a list and a cuppa. Not running round too much before then as i don't want to be dirty or sweaty for that, so i will see what i can knock off. I might sneakily do a bit of the rug. I did 15 items of ironing last night, and packed a box of school stuff of the dining table. I need to tackle box city in the hall as i can't actually get past it without walking on tip toes, and lifting the bump.
Wednesday 9th April: No: of items flung/shredded today = 67

(((johanne)))
(((G&B))) - can you appeal about the DLA? Tax is changing as well, so you might find out that you may get something back. There was a calculator in Martins email this week. It probably wont be much. Think it was £20 a month for me, but every penny counts, eh? xx

Who left the shower running? I'm soaked from taking DD to school and I've got to go to the job center for 1pm as well  Oh well, other than the poor weather today hasn't been too bad, but then I'm rather chuffed that Liverpool won their match last night
Don't usually follow the football but DD heard there was a match on and since we'd been out to town and were late getting back I let her watch some of it, then I carried on watching once I'd put her to bed :rotfl:
Lots of stuff still on my list to do, but I'll get there easily as the house looks good and you know what - it only really needs hoovering and dusting so I'm crossing everything else (except one-offs) off my lists
