Hugs to MOAM - will send angels your way.

Had a good evening. Kitchen gleaming, ironing mountain conquered AND 2 loads of washing hanging on airer thingy (including my fave pink fluffy hoodie that was looking a bit grim).

PLUS DH tidied away assorted tools and DIY bits from the house back into the garage AND managed to put up Ikea magazine rack thing onto wall (3 compartments - 1 for each gingerkids school stuff) as well as the mini fire extinguisher and fire blanket that we've owned about 2 years! He even poured me a glass of wine whilst I was ironing. Do you think he wants anything??

    Evening fellow flyladies.

MOAM - Thinking of you. Hope all is ok.

Chunky - Glad to hear your LO's op went well.

Having completed my list earlier today I have had tonight free.:j Also tea at IL's meant not messing up my nice today kitchen. Yay! So have been for a run - did 30 minutes of running - not bad since I've not been for over 3 weeks. Need to get back into the habit of going - 5 weeks till the race and I am determined to beat my time 2 years ago.

So after all my good work running I came home, had a warm bath and then ate a whole easter egg and a bag of chocolate buttons! Oh well.

Getting a little concerned about DD1 - she keeps saying (about every other day) that her head feels funny - when I asked her if it hurt she said no it feels like there are germs swirling around inside it (we're a bit germ obsessed at the moment), and she pointed to the front of her head at the top. So I think that means she feels a bit dizzy maybe. Then last night and tonight she has woken up (5am last night, 11am tonight) saying she doesn't feel well but can't quite say what the matter is. Not sure whether to go to the doctors or just let it play out a bit and see what happens.

Anyway, bedtime for me. Early(ish) night tonight as in work for the next 3 nights. Night night everyone.

lubylou, personally I'd try some magic medicine, to get rid of the germs, juice or whatever fed on a spoon (if you've got an old medicine bottle all the better) I do this with my sons aches and pains if I suspect it's something else causing it, maybe anxiety, liking the fuss etc, then if it persists I take them to see the GP (usually magic medicine fixes it and we figure out the source of the problem some other way) My son had a major germ obsession which thankfully has calmed a little.
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Hello everyone,

well I went into work and marked 20 books and sorted my marking in to pile (procastrinate much?) and had a general tidy. I don't want to go in tomorrow I would rather stay here and straighten out room and E bay stuff, but I will see. I want cocoa but can I be bothered to make it?

I put some stuff in the loft and roughly put away my birthday presents. i am helping a mate move house tomorrow. hence the I would rather be at home

I fixed my shelves too and phoned my best mate which was lovely.

haven't really read the thread you guys write loads sorry but since it is midnight I should go to sleep!

Love and hugs to you all

AnW'smum/Mudbath thanks re: NI, the guy said he's sending me an exemption certificate because I'm not earning enough... I have to be earning more than £4,825.00 per year which I'm not, OH said not to pay it cause it only applies to certain benefits and there probably wont be a state pension by the time I have to claim lol one other thing.......I failed to mention I was getting WTC will it make a difference ie: do they take all my other monies into account? (WTC, child benefit, maintenance) he just asked me about any other jobs I may have  Do I need to get back on the phone to them?

embb - you only take into account income from self-employment and can ignore all other income/credits/benefits. The £2.30/week does count towards state pension but probably more importantly towards incapacity benefit should the need (hopefully not) arise. If you can pay it, I would. Why not ask them what happens if you apply for exemption now but change your mind in 6 months and want to pay the back contributions (less than full years are rarely worthwhile)?

moo2moo - good luck with the interview

moam - thinking of you and hope you get a quick response and all is well

having lost one post can't remember the rest

    Rant alert
Right done zilch flying, some but not much 'work work' done and totally hacked off with myself. All the good intentions Monday, some progress Monday then Tuesday - waste most of the day.

Wednesday I will post my list of achievements no matter how shameful and my green light will not be on during the day unless I have something positive to report.

Must get a routine whilst OH away otherwise in 3 weeks time I'll be running round for 48 hours trying to make it look like I have been busy for the previous month, will then be tired and ratty and he'll wonder why he bothered coming back. When will I learn?

Feel free to do as much kicking and shouting as you want to. In fact if you want to rant chuck it in this direction - I deserve it (and will probably even thank you!).

    ok rant over

Hope you all have a great day

    NEGATIVE POST SORRY!...

Rubbish couple of days.. nothing done. Feel really sick.

DIDNT do my uni assigment... DIDNT hear back about my extension i asked for off tutor yesterday (so mightly upset! And annoyed as regional centre told me last night tutors should check email everyday so id get a response  ) So now will probably end up missing this one out and having a lower over course result :(

Would have got it done but was in lots of pain yesterday and last night and couldnt concentrate.. went midwife this morning... baby is now 2/5s engaged but lying funny - all on my right side - so need to try and move her so she doesnt get stuck...

Spent afternoon in hospital as FIL is extremely ill.... hes very confused and didnt even recognise OH (which broke my heart :( ) We were taken to a private room and told hes deteriorating and hes now managed to pick up a bug! BUT they dont know where it is in his body.. or what it is.. BUT on a "good" note its not MRSA!

I have fell apart tonight as i adore FIL.. (i have actually known him longer than my OH!) and i look on him like a second dad. Wont go into details but its killed me today seeing him the state hes in and worse knowing now i wont be able to see him for days now as OH is working days so we wont be able to go in. And if i have baby in that time i wont be able to visit at all for risk of infection for weeks possibly :(:(

Really shocked me and upset me seeing him today and made me realise just how pathetic and petty some people in my life really are as they think they have problems.. well when i see that man whos worked hard all his life and has the biggest heart of gold really suffering it just pales everything else into insignificance and makes you realise what the real priorities and important things in life are and that certainly doesnt include money or material possessions or the job you do.

Again sorry for the negative post everyone.... just feel very down at the mo.

:grouphug: Lots of hugs Johanne - try and get some rest and relax. Don't worry about uni - that'll sort itself out. Just look after yourself and the baby. Hope FIL is feeling better soon.
