I just by chance managed to pick up on this thread.

It looks like you've been quite lucky in what you got to choose. I hadn't got the open of accounting or maths (mainly because i got a C and needed a B)

    I'm currently a first year learning;

    Politics
    Modern History
    Business Studies
Psyhcology (i can't drop this lesson even though it pants and the teacher doesn't care)

I'm just wondering what kind of things i could go in to or would be more favourable too.

I did ask for careers advice but i got 'well maybe you could work at a bank doing customer service?' - i didn't think it was the best answer

You must of been well gutted when you didn't get the "B" in Maths?

Yeh same aswell I need "B" at GCSE Maths for A-Level Accounting and Maths. But I am naturally talanted at the Business side of the world for some reason it is in my genes LOL, When I picked GCSE Business & Comm has a option we had a test a few weeks in to the course and got a "C" then this year in the mocks I got a "A" and I hardly had any revision notes I mainly think that most of my family are into Business with Hotels,Motels,Stores etc, but my mum and dad arn't so I just learn from Uncles,Aunts and Cousins mainly by just watching them a few times a year and being British Indian it is our specialliaty :P.

I just hope the interview tomorrow runs smooth like a cheery pie :)

I hope it goes well too. It Should do though, aslong as you got C grades and above your pretty much in to most 'common' colleges.

I picked subjects i never new about. Even history we stopped in year 7 ... mainly because we didn't have a history teacher and the person 'teaching' us believed anything you said  ...

In GCSE Maths I am predicted "A" and I do Business & Communication System which I am predicted "A*" in. :D, why did you need to know that please?

    Thanks

    Amit

I got a B in Business Studies, A in Maths for GCSE.

    A Level I got a B (2/600 off an A...) for Business, and a C for Maths.

Maths has got a huge increase in work effort from GCSE --> A Level, just a warning.

I found that out from my friends, kind of glad i didn't pick it up, i was never brilliant at it!

Just finished a modern history piece, i hate the coursework. I need a B and i'm up till now 'raising it' another level.
