Phone number for your pc - FREE incoming calls!

Hi
I just came across this thread yesterday,have signup and got a local number from Sipgate.
I have it working with a bluetooth headset and it works fine,but my headset is old and the battery is pants.

So i have been loooking for a voip phone but all of the ones i see say skype ready does this mean i cant use them with sipgate??

my short list is
Olympia 9211 IP or Linksys CIT200

would these work any advise would be very welcome

You could get an ATA to connect to your router and then you can use a normal cordless phone

Thanks for that but i haven't got a normal phone,so i would need to buy a ATA and a phone:

The Linksys CIT200 is under £30 at ebuyer using google checkout makes it around £20

Just need to know if it works with sipgate money is well tight at the moment so i need to get it right

can I use a cisco 7960 ip phone with sipgate/voipbuster etc without the cisco router/ switch? ie just via my adsl router?

If I cannot who can I use the cisco ip phone (sip or others) with for free voip calls? & how?:cool:

ie not using my pc but maybe thru it....wth my cisco 7960 ip phn??

With a good IP PBX you can easily handle your calls even on a computer.

You should not be paying high per minute rates to make domestic and international phone calls. By doing a small amount of research on the internet, using your cell phone services nights and weekends, it appears you can make all your calls for free.
