Your Sipgate number if you choose an 01 or 02 number is just that an ordinary 01 or 02 number, so whatever it costs your callers to call 01 or 02 numbers that is what they pay.

If the caller uses 18185 then all calls to 01 or 02 numbers are 4 pence for the entire length of the call.

If the caller has Primus Saver 2, then calling the Sipgate in the evening or weekend will cost nothing.

If the caller usues BT then in the evening and weekend it will be the 5.5p for up to one hour.

The 01 and 02 Sipgate numbers are just standard numbers and charged as such.

    Thank you for the help....

    HELP!

I used to use Sipgate with X-Lite and Voipbuster but then my PC went wonky and I didn't use it for 3 months..

Finally downladed the stuff again onto new PC and it's all up and running, settings all checked and OK.

One problem: anyone calls my 0207 Sipgate number and it goes str8 to my voicemail message!

I've checked all the Sipgate voicemail and other settings - "Voicemail should accept calls... if not reachable after 10 seconds" and "if sipgate phone offline" are both selected (however I've tried unticking either or both too but that doesn't change anything).

Can't think of what else I can do!

Also... when I signed up with Voipbuster in October/November I paid 10 euros credit. I can't access my old account (I have tried the login and password that I saved from then but the account doesn't exist anymore). I thought the credit lasted a year! Anyone a clue? I've checked their Help but not come up with anything yet.

Anyone help? Please? I'll kiss your imaginary feet!!! :):)

You mean 020 number, 7 is not part of the dialling code, it is part of your local number.

You could tried setting voicemail if not reachable after 0 seconds and both ticked to on. Save that, wait a minute then set it to 90 seconds, save that, then leave it at 90 seconds and un-tick both.

If that doesn't work, then maybe you are having port forwarding problems, if you are behind a router.

Your VoIPBuster account should still be accessible, I didn't put credit on mine for 9 months and it along with my others are still accessible.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

    No worries, pleased to help.

Yes, being a pedant is a bit of a pass time for me, though didn't want to see people getting confused wondering why when they call a local number and missing the first digit off that number they don't get through.
