    if you go to tesco sunday afternoon at about 3.45 because it closes at 4 you can get bread for 10p a loaf!! 10 loaves of bread lots of toast!

    Asda I believe, also large jars curry sauce for 8p & packets instant custard 6p.

    I made £1 stretch to over £7000 thanks to a CCA request to Lowells:beer:
  • £1 buys me a cup of soup at work. They only do it on cold days, so on hot days you have to shell out £3 for a sandwich or go hungry. I tend to look at the sandwiches, think twice and walk away.

    I just wish I could gain the motivation to make lunch for work!

    And from somewhere like Costco, you'd get 200+ cola bottles, as the big boxes mean the sweets are often worth less then half a penny.
