Free Os Maps?

anybody know where I can download free digital OS maps?

    I have not seen any legal downloads of OS maps .
    The OS maps for computer use are expensive .
    Memory Map.

    I did all my own planning permissions for our barn conversion and garages. I was a bit cheeky and used the maps from buying the property (in the land title deeds and bits). I scanned them, scaled them and then added my drawings. Could you find something in your house buying bits and pieces?

    streetmap.co.uk provides the 4 inches to the mile OS maps, I suppose though that you are looking for even larger scale.

    i recently had to get a 1:2500 sitemap for planning application, best price i found was £26.09p from . aboveandbeyond.co.uk

    OS are very funny about people using their maps, they protect them well and charge a lot for them (i suppose it's fair really they cost a lot to make and maintain)

    Can you go to your local library and borrow one, or colour photocopy the relevant pages?
