I ordered my wedding dress from china it is stunning and has loads of detail, got it made to measure but will need a little bit of fitting. The only thing is it was a bit short I had specified the length with 4 inch heels but would look silly with 4 inch heels I did this so it could be taken up a bit dependeing on my shoes but now I am limited to a 1 or 2 inch heel which are hard to find.
I would recommend though as the dress looks 10 times what I paid for lined and boned!!0 -
Hi I do not work in the industry, but i visit a lot of the top shops in the uk for insurance purposes. The majority of the shops now buy the dresses from China,i mean the top retail outlets!!0

I bought the dress in my profile pic and it's stunning! Arrived within 3 weeks and the seller sent dispatch details which was reassuring. I was worried I might be taking a bit of a change, but as Paypal have a buyer protection clause I was covered if the seller turned out not to be legit.
I bought my dress from you-and-me999.
Hope that helps.
Please let us all know what dress you decide on and how it went.
Good luck xxx:kisses2:August 1st 2010...so happy I wanna jump up and down on my bed :j0 -

Our daughter was married 4 days ago. The dress she saw and wanted in the UK was £2000. Knowing she would have an outdoor wedding, weather permitting, she was not prepared to pay ( or let Dad pay!) that much and then spend all day worrying about the dress. She saw a very similar style on Landy and ordered that. £180. It was stunning and fitted perfectly. Everyone said how lovely she looked. By the time dress and train had gone round the gardens of the house we hired, up and down a rather rough drive, up a tree !! and about a mile over the moor it still looked quite good. The photographer said he had never had such an enjoyable wedding shoot. Can't wait to see the photos.
All this and no worries about 'spoiling' an expensive dress. Later this week I shall turn it inside out, put it in a duvet cover and throw it in the washing machine. At that price I won't worry about it!0 -

Am intrigued to see the replies on here!
Have fallen in love with a Sassi Holford gown that is £2000.
Friend of mine used http://www.yourbridalwear.com/ and highly recommended them. I have sent them an email, and they have said they can make my gown for £165. And they are based in the UK.
Am now just plucking up the courage to place my order!!0
