well, i stopped watching the kettle and horrah, we have exchanged.
redirected the post, booked the van, cancelled virgin media, did iammoving.com and took out insurances within an hour.
now to go home, drink the champagne which i put in the fridge this morning and then get ready for the packing. moving next fri.0 -

I think, no matter what the theory on these matters, when you're buying/selling you really are left in the dark most of the time as to what will go on.
When I sold I didn't know when I'd be exchanging. I wasn't getting any response from my solicitor. Then suddenly I'd exchanged. I'd wanted 2 weeks between exchange/completion. Ended up with just 48 hours. Totally insufficient, especially as my well-laid plans to clear the house unravelled like a stack of dominoes.... glad to be out though.
