A friend gave me several bottles of Liebraumilch a few years ago - I wouldn't dream of drinking it, but stuck it in some big batches of risotto. (If it's a good wine, it's a big glass for me, a big glass for my dining companion, and a big glass for the risotto!).

I use Sainsburys basics Spanish White Wine and find it perfect in my paella.
