I use one of these in the utility room. Would really recommend if you have the space, clothes dry quicker because air is warmer 'up there'We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.

I sometimes find that drying clothes inside gives the clothes a fusty smell, or it's the softner I use?Regards,

I have an old fashioned creel that you pull up to the ceiling. It is absolutely marvelous. I inherited it in the house and when I had the kitchen done the builder thought I wouldn't use it and was going to get rid of it!
Only problem I have is that when cooking certain meals with the clothes on the creel is that they can absorb some of the smells. (Cooking chips being the worst),"It is always the best policy to speak the truth-unless, of course, you are an exceptionally good liar." - Jerome K Jerome0 -

We tend to hang tops and trousers on hangers and off door frames. It means they need less ironing (if you iron that is!!!! I could say i am really money saving by not ironing clothes - but that would be lying. Ironing was invented by the devil!!!!! Horrid job!!) :rotfl:
Ultimate in time saving too - i just stuff them into wardrobe when they are dry as they are already on hangers. What's he building in there???

Why do you need a fitted to the bath type?I have 2 clothes horses, one opens like a book, the other conertinas up & down. Both fit in the bath fine, although they were't specifially desigend for it.

I use a retractable clothes line. It doesn't cost very much (saw one for £3.99 today) and it can be tidied away quickly. I try and do my washing so that it dries when I'm out or at night.0
