This was a minor annoyance until you pointed out the 'on the hour' finding.

Now that I know that, it's REALLY annoying, and I notice it all the more, lol!!

Sometimes for me it wont load at all, and i get a blank screen with a message saying an email has been sent to someone (cant remember who!) :rolleyes:

When i do get on, sometimes it literally takes minutes for a page to load.

But i dont mind

I'm the opposite Mumstheword..........because I know it's going to sort itself out in a few minutes, I just go off and do something else (usually play the game)

The only problem that I have with it is that it keeps reminding me how many hours I spend on here :rolleyes:

Well, suppose it should be 05 and 35 mins, but the MAd MAveric MAniac bit needs further thought (I'm assuming these are just arbitrary descriptions..). Anyway, at least you'll escape the o'clock traffic jam...

I reckon it's Martins latest MoneySaving idea! Instead of paying for electricity he has mice running around a wheel powering the servers. Every hour the mice have to stop to regain their breath ready to run around the wheel again for the next hour. Now that the mice are getting on a bit they are taking that little bit longer rest before they start again. Give the mice a break.

In that case isa, can we have a collection set up and get some hamsters as I reckon they could go longer than an hour without a break! :rotfl:

Alternatively, think I'll go and buy a timer that I can set for each hour to give me some warning when to stop for a break. Sorry ManAtHome, think I sneaked in a post there

Same problem for me. It is probably a scheduled task for the top of the hour.
Or extra demand from users at the end of scheduled Radio/TV etc.
I always copy my posts to a local directory before submitting them to any forum.

Site crashed totally with me at 12.03 today. Anyone else get the same problem??

I'm assuming it's because the tips went out.
