i actually find it very theraputic (sorry for the spelling) picking them out with my fingers, last time my dd had them we did it like this, she had a plastic cup and we put them in there so she could see them, although she has fair hair and not a lot of it and we caught the bu**ers the same day!
coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there
    (meaning under the buggy lol):D

Okay, help needed from Bootsing mums.

Daughter ...proud owner of hip length uberfine hair...has got nits. Despite having had three kids this is the first case of nits I've ever encountered in my kids and it had to happen to the girl...the boys would have been off for a No2 buzz cut as soon as I'd noticed and that would have helped a lot with treatment.

Anyhow, what to Boots sell that will kill the little b****rs stone dead with the least amount of hassle and the maximum amount of instant death? I have no objections to chemical warfare, given that they lead a pretty unpolluted lifestyle the rest of the time and are not sickly or allergic to anything.

Poor you and poor daughter. I'm a teacher as well as a mum and can really empathise with you over this one.

The thing that I have found works best is Hedrin Lotion. I cannot remember the exact instructions but I've found that it kills the visitors quickly. After that I would wash hair and condition with teatree shampoo and conditioner and use nit comb.

    Boots sell all these!

My brother's three children all got lice one time and it was a huge mess. I can't speak to the products used, but I did want to mention to make sure that your DD's bedding is stripped and washed in hot water, as some lice may have taken up residence there. You may even want to find some kind of spray to use on any fabric furniture in the house which nits might have moved into. At least it seems like that's what my brother had to do. You probably know this, but I thought it worth mentioning.

Hiya crazyposhgal :) The AC machines in Cambridge Retail Park have the Natural Collection lip gloss points coupon as 100 extra points - I'm guessing the number of points varies from store to store then?

Also, is it an absolute definite you can combine the lip glaze coupon with the 17 GWP offer (spending less than £5 once lip glaze voucher has been taken off) or it is down to individual SA's? A friend was told she couldn't do this and had to spend £5 on 17 stuff before picking up the lip glaze, and when I tried putting through just a lip glaze and eyeliner the till beeped but the SA sorted it out.

My lip glaze voucher went through no problem when I used it with the GWP offer ( no till bleeps or anything! :D )

as you live in scotland you can get stuff for this free on the minor ailments service-just ask at the pharmacy
research has shown that hedrin(a non chemical treatment that works by smothering the lice )is just as effective as the chemical ones such as derbac . you can get this on the minor ailments
you can also get the nitty gritty comb free on this as well
would advise checking with the comb(on wet hair with lots of conditioner ) on a regular basis from now on as these things tend to perpetuaute as it only takes one parent not to bother treating and everyone else keeps getting reinfested

by the way edinburgh fort is open till 8pm
