What unit is the please ?
Caller display units can be bought in loads of shop( mine is a betcom) just get one that has a dial button .Mine will tell me if I have any new calls plus store up to 100 incoming numbers. There are different models out there to look at .The downside to these things is they have to be connected directly to the phone line or extention ,and two you have to pay BT to use them .( I think its £4.75 per month). The advantage of these things is it will tell me how many calls I missed not just the last number .
Here is how mine works .
Two years ago I asked BT to disconnect mine ,It has been taken off my bill but still works .I recently changed to onlinebilling ,on the first bill was " free caller display ".
I think they just take it off the bill but dont disconnect .I even changed from onetel to BT and from BT to Talk Talk and it still works .0
