I've got the table plan finished and took the guest book i decorated apart so that i could put the pages through the printer and then re bind it with my bind it all (wedding pressy from OH). sorted out the licence for the videographer? My vicar is insisting on it and others i've spoken to have never even heard of it.
Just got to finish paying for stuff, and sort out the napkins.0 -
Just wanted to say, hope it all goes well tomorrow for you both, Krystaltips and lemon tree, the two last september brides. Let us know how it goes xx0

our wedding was wonderful, truly a fairytale. Everything went well, and there was lots of smiles and laughter. All the hard work and worry was worth it, we just enjoyed the whole day. The ceidlhi got people dancing who wouldn't normally have danced. I wish i could have the day all over again, but the memories will be with me forever.
Our honeymoon starts on friday, though we set off down to the airport on thursday. I can't wait for the break.0 -
Congrats Lemon Tree...glad you had a lovely day. I wonder how Krystal got on?0

Lemon Tree-congrats on the last of the september weddings, glad it went well! I hope Krystaltips' was as good though I'm sure it will have been!
We got married on the 6th Spetember in the North East with more rain on the Friday and Saturday than has been up there for a long while! It stopped raining when I left for church, when we came out of church and also once we got to the hotel so we got photos outside. Someone must have been watching over us!
Our marquee was condemned for health and safety reasons but we were moved to the restaurant which is a huge conservatory which overlooks the beach so it ended up a better venue!
My husband thinks the weather made it a better day though and I agree with him. We ended up having a bar in the same room with us, all the food and entertainment too so it kept everyone together. I also managed to learn a song on the drums 2 days before so played that with one of the bands as a surprise!
Sorry to rattle on but reading all about the September weddings I couldn't resist!! I've also been told it is lucky to rain on your wedding day so if anyone else had rain then good luck to you!:T0 -
Hiya folks, I'm back!
Had a wonderful wedding, the sun shone, nobody argued and I managed to avoid the MIL all day lol....
On a more serious note, it really was our perfect day. Everything went to plan and everyone that came told us how much they enjoyed the day. We just had a lovely week in York together and are now settling down into married life.
Only have a couple of pics that other people have taken but will try and post some in the next couple of days...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Congratulations Krystal. Glad it all went well.
Bonus in avoiding MIL - how did you manage all day without going to the loo? :rotfl:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Hehe... took me a min then... She kind of collared me at one point but I got this pained expression in my eye and DH saved me by asking if my Dad was after me... That was right after lunch... During which she spent most of the time 'in the loo' which was actually her smoking outside every 10mins or so....A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
