That's the only thing I'm really worried about... Felt pretty horrendous with DD... Most of the time too.... Oh well... I'll just eat plenty of ginger biscuits in the wedding car!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

congratulations Krystaltips what good news. If you're worried about your church friends it's just a honeymoon baby which arrives a liitle early lol
Did you find the place cards or has that been superseeded by the good news?
Today my mission should i chose to accept it is to do the place cards and think of a table plan design, i should ask you about yours as after your order of service design i bet it's fab and i'd love to borrow your idea.

Haven't really looked any further for the placecards... I've had to order a black ink pad to stamp peoples first initials and write the rest myself so once that arrives I'll tear the place up looking for them...
Here is the table plan... I've swirled peoples names...
    100_1055.jpg
It was all printed onto cream card and mounted onto off cuts of wall paper and then more cream card... The back board is actually the back of a mirror that we knocked off DD wall last week when we were moving her furniture around... It just happens to be perfect size... I plan to repair the mirror after the wedding... She hasn't notice it's missing yet anyway! I painted it pale blue with acrylic paint, and the butterflies I bought off eBay before christmas, they were originally for the invites but were too expensive...

And I have no problem letting people know it's a honeymoon baby... It's just keeping it to myself I think I'm going to have problems with!

Oh, and feel free to use my ideas... I'm sure nobody will be at both weddings to notice similarities ;)

I love your table plan Krystaltips, i had a feeling that yours would be extraordinary.
I've done the printing out bit of the tables, decided to go with the Italian numbers instead of just numbers. Now that sounds really complicated, just mean Table Uno instead of Table 1. Won't make much difference but will pull more Italian into the theme. Now i just have to decide how to mount them on the board i already have.
Our guest saga continues, future MIL now says the taxi will be £120 each way (what a surprise - i think i predicted this at the beginning of July) and they need to stay. So where can they stay? - translated as can you sort everything out so we don't have to do anything? Trouble is i sent out a list of places with the invitation for everyone, and two of the places are booked now, and i did tell MIL back at beginning of July she needed to book into them straight away or it would be too late (when she announced they were coming by taxi for the day). We can't even get the best man to commit to when he's coming down or where he's staying and therefore can't sort out his parents. argh it's so frustrating and we need it sorted to plan the coach route so everyone gets picked up.
sorry for the winge again. It's just little problems which keep cropping up that are driving me nuts.

Does anyone else wish that their wedding day was tomorrow so that the little things don't matter any more and they can just get on with enjoying the whole thing?

I know exactly what you mean Lemon Tree.... I'd be married now if we'd of gone for the original Date... Not had any wedding related stresses for a while... Still waiting for MIL to rear her ugly head... OH told her about the baby on Sunday... I didn't really want him to... She gushed down the phone at him and then asked to speak to me... But I was busy... Sticking pins in my eyes.... She asked OH if she could speak to me before the wedding and he said he would see.... I really don't know what I would say to the woman who tried her best to ruin my wedding day and is now insisting she's already given us £1000 towards it (which she hasn't, she's counting every fiver she's lent OH since he was 18!) Don't think I would be able to hold my tongue so I think not talking to her until I have to is the best thing...

Could you not provisionally book rooms for in laws and just tell them where they are staying and organise the coach yourself? How are they getting there if they stop over? Assuming it's not the £120 taxi...

  • I was exactly like you Lemon Tree - OH and I had a huge row on the Thursday coz all the tiny important things were getting to me and he kept telling me to chill :o.

It will eventually be so close that it's too late to change anything.

I couldn't really stress too much the day before as I was deposited at the venue with loads of family and my 3 closest friends and we had a girly night (I was really hiding from my mother :rotfl:).

You're bound to be wound up think how much organising has gone into everything - once it gets here and you're having a fantastic time you'll wonder what all the fuss was about :D
