Yes, i noticed that too and also Popcorn isn't doing comps anymore. My eldest is on the winners list for citv for something shes not received so i've sent them an email asking a few questions! :D

I received a reply back from citv this morning and they said they are not doing comps anymore - no reason give. My eldest will be disappointed!

This might be a stupid question, but can you search for comps. using the expiry date? I've had a go, but can't seem to do it, so I'm probably answering my own question rolleyes.gif

Just wondered how the lovely peeps who prepare the daily comp. threads do it ... do they have to go through every page and pick out each one?

you can't search by date unfortunately so yes it is a case of going through all of the pages. you can sort by thread title which helps a bit, but not entirely because people use different end date formats. hope that answers your Q.
  • Of course it relates to your question, your asking the same thing that a LOT of people have asked before you

    post 2 of page 15 http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=10081189&postcount=562

quote from hjb123 'afraid thats pretty much the reason for the comps ending thread - there isnt really an effective way of searching by ending date'

post 3 from the same page http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=10081333&postcount=563

quote from iwannabeonthebeach 'unfortunately its not possible, hence the threads. something even simpler than that would be if everyone used the same format for end date, but they don't'

I could go on & on, simply reading more of this thread would answer the question.

And yes, to do the 'comp ending' threads you have to go through EVERY post to find any ending that date.

Um, excuse me, but your original "clicky" took me through to post 421 onwards, hence this did not relate to my question rolleyes.gif I do assure you I can read ...
