Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. i have hd a similar letter, which i am to phone for to see what i have won (which will be up to the value of £3750
it was seasons holidays, and the letter came recorded delivery, with a free phone number to call on, so it seemed good, but when i looked at wbbie for them, they do seem to be a time share company, so i will phone tomorrow, but expect to have a similar response as in they will probably tell me if i pay so much i will get a holiday.
can anyone tell me if they have heard of them and is it a scammy prize, will be a shame, got excited thinking i may have won my first prize through MSEThanks to all who post comps :T0 -
kosma1, quite a lot of us have 'won' with Seasons Holidays and you are right, it is a timeshare type thing. I wouldn't bother ringing them (unless you especially want to) as they are going to ring you anyway. If you want a timeshare then fine, but its not what I would call a win in the normal freebie way!0

Thanks for your reply zebedeee. i had suspected it was something like that, and i cerainly dont want a time share, cant afford one, how would i expect to be mortgage and debt free if i take on one of those, lmao.
may phone out of curiosity so i can let others know exactly what they are up to.
such a shame, guess i should get back to entering proper competitions with real prizes and keep my fingers crossed for my first real winThanks to all who post comps :T0 -
Wot no Telegraph Freebie of the week
thought it was freebie of the week not freebie of the fortnight

has anyone noticed on the citv site that there isnt a section that says 'win' anymore?
Yes, i noticed that too and also Popcorn isn't doing comps anymore. My eldest is on the winners list for citv for something shes not received so i've sent them an email asking a few questions!
NOW IN COMPING SEMI-RETIREMENT!
