    Start from basics.

Post your details you get when you type "ipconfig" without the "" in the CMD window.

    These are mine:

    (C) Copyright 1985-2001 Microsoft Corp.
    C:\Documents and Settings\First>ipconfig
    Windows IP Configuration

    Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:
            Media State . . . . . . . . . . . : Media disconnected
Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection 2:
            Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :

            Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1
    C:\Documents and Settings\First>

    192.168.0.1 is my router IP

Not the words in brackets. That was because I don't know what your routers IP is as you have not posted the results of ipconfig.

Thanx, visitor has gone now so I'll swap comps and check these things. Don't think I'll be able to copy and paste though as I have no left click on this mouse its broken, it was the right click but as that is used more I had to swap the mouse round to left hand so my left click is right click now. I'll just have to write it down :)
    Thanx
