sorry to be a complete pain. I am on the "to be placed" menu, have selected a horse, and it says "you are betting on hedgehunter to win" but i want to put money one each way - i thought the to be placed menu was the right one?

Myself and my friend did this yesterday both of us do the Lottery but never bet on horses etc. My friend got the £30 Quidco offer which tracked almost straight away and I did the £50 Quidco offer which tracked after I placed my bets. My friend also got her £25 refunded this morning and has now withdrawn funds back to her card. I am still waiting for mine but think its because I had an unmatched bet. Though it could just be because of the obvious demand for the offer!!
Just wanted to say Thank you for the original post and any winnings would just be a bonus and will be given to Cancer Research - one of the charities I support since my mum was diagnosed with and now in remission from the dreaded C.

You can only put bets on to win on this website.

Think thats about right. You are on to win if he gets placed

So I have to put them all on to win, but if it comes 1st 2nd or 3rd I win something?

Hi, I have bet 2 x £5 at Betfair on GN and then clicked 'National Quick Bet' so I could choose Each Way on a couple of other horses but they are not showing up on My Bets! I have printed out page as proof but would feel happier seeing them with my first bets. Can anybody tell me what I have done wrong, please?

its fine as long as your are on the to be placed market - you can either bet "to win" (blue boxes) or for the horse "to lose" (pink boxes).
