still not tracking on quidco, is it because i put in martins code instead of the quidco one?

I dont think so as people have reported the cashback with both codes. You might have to submit an earnings enquiry in a few days - although it still might track in.

Have just doen this once for myself, once for hubby & once for my dad, all via R-points (who a paying a measly £15 cashback but I find them a million times more reliabe than Quidco) but............ Have just realised that in all 3 cases I haven't put in the promotional code, or bet 5 X£5 but smaller each-way bets....doh.....that's £75 I've thrown away:mad::o:doh:cry:

Ring betfair and explain. You never know, they may take pity on you - I think they are well used to all these novices on GN day. Give it a go.

    Thanks Martin :T

I was a bit nervous about this initially, but am very pleased I took a chance on it. I now have £50 tracked in quidco, £25 refunded to me by betfair, and bets worth £25 (but costing nothing) laid on the geegee's.

If they all fall at the first hurdle, I've still made £50

If one of the horses makes it across the finish line first (probably won't happen but there's a 40% chance on of them will apparently - don't quote me on that though I don't really 'get' betting) I stand to make anything from a few quid up to two grand (yes I put a few quid on at 400-1 lol who cares it's not my money and stranger things have happened I'm sure!)

I'm off over to mums house in about an hour to show her how to do this too :) I was considering asking if there was a way for either my mum or myself to benefit from a 'referral', but I figure I'll leave it and we'll follow the same tried and tested procedure I used. I don't want there to be any chance of messing things up by getting too greedy! :o

I tend to go on a bit, sorry, but one last thing:
I know some people will have issues with you advocating this in your email, maybe some people are on this site due to debts caused by gambling etc - I understand why they might get their backs up. What you've offered here though is a way for people to literally make money from nothing, I'll personally make anything from £50 to about £2050 without risking a penny of my own money, that's not gambling, that's stiffing the bookies back for once, that's "consumer revenge" :D

I'd like everyone to note that betfair don't intend to make a loss here. Bookies and betting agents or whatever the correct term is, are in this to make money. And they do. A lot. This offer is to entice you in, I suppose a betting version of a 'loss leader', they hope you'll come back for more, and they'll recoup anything you may have won on a free bet soon enough if you do. By all means have a go at this and make a bit of bonus money, but for the love of god don't play into the bookies hands and keep coming back for more!

I know I won't, I don't even play the lottery, but who can pass up a free £50 with no risk? :D

Are you my long lost brother?

    I was very nervous
Quidco still not tracked but £25 back in my account.
havent bet on a horse since I put 2p on red rum in the 70s.
Never do the lottery. have never bought a scratch card. I take money OUT of amusement arcades. (I usually find a few ob as I am walking through :rotfl: )
I too, go on a bit, I am known for writing essays.
And I TOTALLY agree with what you're saying. You never see a poor bookie. make the most of this, then run. Do NOT go back for more.
I work out what I save by NOT doing the lottery in a year.

tell me Mr DT when did you register, cos I did it yesterday aft and no quidco tracked for me yet.
I can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. I can be hurtful I can be purple I can be anything you like..Gotta be green gotta be mean gotta be everything more...

give it chance to update the systems - if you are using a method of payment that is only available to over 18s then you should be ok and the system will stop requesting it once it catches up. Otherwise follow their instructions for sending the information they require.

You should have no problems getting the money back at Betfair as long as you comply with the T&Cs of the offer.

I think you may be looking at the ante post market which is now closed for betting. The main market is here http://sports.betfair.com/Index.do?mi=20925100&ex=1&origin=MRL

Thanks jessicamb - that was the problem. All sorted!
