I went thru Quidco and used Martin's code and it is tracking just fine. You have to spend your bet money first tho!

    Good luck everyone!

    Because they don't trust betfair?
you should get £30 from quidco + £20 if you use a refer and earn code plus - so thats £50 profit and then a refund on your bet.

Sorry for being daft - what is a refer and earn code?

My laptop is sooooooooo slow tonight and it's taking me an age to get through all the pages.

I know Martins code is on the first page but will entering another code not stop the £25 refund thing working?

Can anyone tell me if i leave placing bets until sat morn are the odds likley to be lower than what they are coming up with right now? and is there a chance that the market could be suspended just before the race? don't want to miss out on the bets but also don't want to doit too early, thanks

The odds could go up or down depending on many things such as the weather, jockeys etc. but also simply on supply and demand... on the morning of the race, many ordinary people who aren't exactly frequent horse racing betters go to make blind bets and if one horse is preferred over another (for example, people like that name!) then the odds will fall etc.

No.. sounds like your software might be out of date.. what browser are you using? You might need to update it and/or other net software like java.

Help. I have deposited £25 on visa-it takes about 33p credit card charge.Does that mean I therefore have not deposited the £25 required?
Tried to transfer another £10 to be sure, but the site is playing up-it won't let me.

ok - I've used the code that quidco automatically put in when I went onto the site - the CLT534 one.

Quidco has tracked but I guess I'll have to wait an see till sunday if I get my £25 bet back off betfair.

Bit worried as I only usually bet £5 on the national, I wonder if i'll be able to chase them up if it doesnt go through.

Did anyone who used Martins code have anything saying about the refund on their welcome email - using the CLT534 code didnt hae anything on this email.

Careful with the gambling though folks - its much more addictive than fags!

Has anyone else had this - I have attempted to take advantage of the £25 bet offer, but when I put £25.40(paying by visa) into the deposit box,the next page says "you have agreed to deposit £51.84 by visa"
I had also used the code that Martin gave us.
can anyone please explain,I took cols feet & my page expired!!

It's showing the wrong currency sign ... it means USD 51.84 ... more likely than not it's because it is offshore ....

If you apply the card details to your account ... but put zero in the total box ... then once it has your card details on your account ... go back in and deposit £25 ... it should show as USD for whatever the exchange currently is ... :^)

has any one here opened up more than one account. i have a credit card registered at work. could i use that to set up a new address.

what about someone else living in my house ie my girlfriend - could she open up an account with her credit card using the same address as mine

Your girlfriend will be able to open an account using a different payment card

Opening another account in your name is against the T&Cs and you could risk getting the freebie/cashback paid out/account closed
