Hello,
I have decided to get a breadmaker and want recommendations from those who have one.
Please let me know what special about yours. I am willing to spend even over £100 if product is good.
Thanks in advance.0 -
Got to be a "Panasonic"I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0

If you search the Old Style Forum you'll find several breadmaker threads. The Panasonic crowd (of which I am one) is positively evangelical about them. (And unless you buy it second hand it will be around the £100 mark.)Better is good enough.0

I have a Panasonic Sd255 which has been amazing I do however think my model has been discontinued. Personally I'll go for another Panasonic when this one dies.Goal - We want to be mortgages free :j

Many thanks for quick responses. I looked at panasonic 2500, 2501 and 2502, cant see the difference (apart from one has nut dispenser). What would sway you towards one of them?0

I was given this one as a present last Xmas and haven't bought a loaf since. I love it

When I did my research a couple of years ago, every other brand had some nay-sayers along with the advocates and some people saying "don't do it, it will only live in the cupboard" whereas the panasonic was universally applauded. I wasn't sure whether I was doing the right thing by getting one so decided not to risk wasting money on a cheaper version that I would then end up not using and jumped straight into the panasonic. Haven't regretted it since. I can't say I've not bought bread since because I've occaisionally picked some up when reduced to 5p or because OH wanted to do bread&butter pudding with cheap white bread. I can say that I've always regretted buying bread since though!
I went for one with the nut dispenser because I like fruit bread and OH likes seeded breads. I believe there is now a model with a yeast dispenser too but I have no idea what advantage that might bring.0 -
I couldn't resist this:
Why not ask David Cameron?;)0
