Two weeks ago i applied for a Barclay card and i was rejected, then today i get an 'exclusive personal offer' than iam (quote) 'guaranteed' to be excepted.
This card would be 0% until April next year.
As this is a guaranteed to be excepted (there words) is it worth sending off the form.????????????'Beware of little expenses. A small leak will sink a great ship'. -Benjamin Franklin.0 -

Fantastic!
See you can make money! Did you/will you pay this straight against a debt? The longer the money stays in your bank account the easier it is to fritter away.
Have you spoken to a DMP? I spoke to National Debtline last week and they were very helpful.
Have you made sure you are claiming everything you can? No harm in speaking to WTC, council tax people, benefits agency etc. Try entitledto.co.uk to see what that says.
Can you cut your nappy bill/clothing/shoes etc by getting your parents and in-laws to buy them. I am constantly asking my parents to buy my three tinies bits and pieces. It gives my mum a chance to spoil them with things they need and her way of helping without interferring.
I know you said you want to move, but can it not wait until you have perhaps stabilised your debts?
Finally, can either of you work in Asda or Tesco etc a couple of evenings? I know this pays very little and can be soul destroying if you hate it but an extra £150 a month towards debts would make a huge difference.
Thinking of you and here to help

I havent yet spoken to a DMP, i think the house sale will have to wait if i move i will just be reducing my equity by a huge amount.
I did look on entiteldto and i am being underpaid (according to them)
But i am waiting on this years forms from the inland revenue to see how much they have cocked it up by this year,(they ALWAYS do).
Also trying to get OH into P/T work.
But in the mean time i still have this months round of CC bills to pay.'Beware of little expenses. A small leak will sink a great ship'. -Benjamin Franklin.0 -
Have you tried asking for a months grace / minimum payment so you can catch your breath and sort the DMP?0

Evening!
How is it going? Have you had a chance to speak to a DMP?
I spoke to my credit card people last year when I my OH upped and left and they gave me two months to sort myself out and only pay a nominal £20 (£10 each month). It was great and gave me a chance to take stock.
Hope you are well and still positive

Hi
I'm just going to throw in my tuppence worth. I would advise keeping the house if you are happy with it. Having your own place provides security,
calm in the storm. Also, as long as you can pay the mortgage you don't need to worry so much about your credit rating because you already have a mortgage, if you see what I mean. Then you can look at a DMP.
If you feel you really need to sell, then maybe consider keeping back some of the equity, ie don't use it all to pay off the debts, and buy something else.
Your credit rating must be pretty good if you are still being offered cards.
