It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

If you rarely need treatment doing, your dentist may recommend that you have annual checkups rather than 6 monthly! (unless you have ongoing conditions that he/she is keeping an eye on)

It's your taxes that pay for the NHS, only a very little bit of NI goes towards it.

I did use to think that NI was purely pensions and benefits, but on checking that out recently, I found out that I was wrong. A small amount of NI contributions DO go into the NHS. But none of the NI capital fund may be used for it.

Good article on it on Wikipedia for any other political healthcare anoraks!

Interesting that the NHS is the fourth largest employer in the World! After China's Peoples Liberation Army, Indian Railways and Wal Mart!
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.
  • Grrr, it's getting so expensive!

I have two crowns at the front of my mouth and I'm dreading them going - I genuinely can't afford to get them fixed!!

So irritating that I can't get any help with anything like this even though I just about scrape minimum wage arrggghhH!

Why not take out insurance now - whilst things are OK.

Tesco have a decent policy they're promoting at the moment.

The one that covers NHS fees is about £12 a month, the private one is £16.

(I'm not an expert on dental insurance policies, and others are available!!)

i wouldnt say theyre fairer prices BUT its the nhs charges so if you dont like them, go private (have had enough of patients complaining about charges since 1st april - get over it already.)

So !!!!!! am I paying Tax & NI for? Pay loads in to this Government, but costs me more and more, would love to be able to opt out of paying them and go Private. But why pay twice?

So the more this Government charge for Tax on everything I am meant to except.

Yes things go up in price but 200% overnight, they are having a laugh.
    Cheers
